July 27th, 2009 | by Kevin Hanson |Andre Miller has signed a three-year deal worth $21 million with Portland (without a sign-and-trade) and the Sixers are out of the running for C.J. Watson, according to Phil Jasner of the Philadelphia Daily News. Watson, who’s a restricted free agent, was offered three years and $4.5 million from Golden State.

You could argue that the Sixers will have the worst collection of guards in the NBA next year. The trio of Lou Williams, Willie Green and a raw Jrue Holliday won’t be striking fear into opponents.
According to Jasner, the Sixers are mulling, among others, Royal Ivey (who declined his player option), Jason Hart, Carlos Arroyo, Bobby Jackson, Juan Dixon, Tyronn Lue, Brevin Knight and Luther Head.
Philadunkia would like to see ex-UConn point guard Marcus Williams on the list of players the Sixers are considering.
